Indus Motor Corporation Toyota has finally released the news about the locally assembled Corolla Cross. The crossover will launch in Pakistan next year means 2023 is the year IMC Toyota will launch its first locally assembled Hybrid Electric Crossover. Toyota will share its parts of electric vehicle production in Pakistan by offering this crossover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the 6th<\/sup> Journalists Summit 2022 at Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir, the CEO of IMC Toyota Ali Asghar Jamali has told to media \u201cToyota will introduce it\u2019s first locally assembled Corolla Cross HEV SUV in 2023 and it\u2019s a Pakistani made model. Further, he told that the company has already spent $100 million on HEV production in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n

Price Range of Locally Assembled Corolla Cross HEV<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The CEO has said that the locally assembled HEV Corolla Cross will arrive with a price of Rs. 5 million to 7 million. Moreover, he said HEV production is a solution to control oil import in Pakistan by 5- percent. As per the current situation, we don\u2019t have the infrastructure to produce fully electric vehicles. But we can produce HEVs in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMC will launch Crolla Cross HEV with this low-price range to start the new competition in the market. It\u2019s just the start of low price HEVs production in Pakistan. After IMC other automakers will also think to convert vehicles to HEV under the competitive price range.<\/p>\n\n\n
