After the launch of the non-Maybach version in 2020, Maybach now presents the brand’s first plug-in hybrid Mercedes-Maybach S580e. The car will perform high with the support of an electric motor.
The brand will start the S580e launch from China this year, and the second number comes to Thailand, Europe, and other countries follow. Maybach series have super attention with its great functions. Mercedes-Maybach Hybrid Power
The new plug-in hybrid model is managed with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six gasoline engine which is able to make 362 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The electric motor is fixed to produce 148 bhp and 440 Nm of torque.
It has made similar output as Mercedes-Benz S580e. The new electric motor and gasoline engine makes 503 bhp and 750 Nm of twist.

Speed and Charging
The combination of gasoline and electric motor keeps the engine performance smooth. Mercedes-Maybach S580e claims a top speed of 155 mph to cover 62 miles per hour in just 5.1 seconds. In electric mode the speed of the car is much lower it will offer 87 mph.
Mercedes has not shared the confirmed battery size. Meanwhile, an 11-kilowatt charger comes as standard in Maybach but a 60-kW DC charger is an option too. From the zero battery, a 60-kW charger is able to refill the battery in about 30 minutes.
Mercedes-Bens S580e combines with a 28.0-kilowatt-hour battery pack and it is twice the size of a plug-in hybrid. The Maybach electric range is equal to the Benz version, as it offers up to 62 miles grounded on WLTP.
